We have a great guest on the show this week. Anders Frejdh, founder and editor of From Sweden With Love comes on to talk about managing George Lazenby over the years.

Min7 & min8

Bond delivers a great stomach punch to the second henchman Bill Morgan. He then throws a monster uppercut and even loses his footing doing so. Meanwhile henchman 1 Terry Mountain has come back for more, this time wielding an anchor of sorts.

Bond defends himself with an oar and manages to thwack him round the head with it. He crumples to the ground under a boat that is propped up by sticks. Bond throws the oar, smashing the sticks and the boat envelopes poor Terry.

Meanwhile Tracy flees in Bond's DBS and Bond has to deal with Henchman 2 again, which he swiftly does throwing him into some cargo netting.

Tracy leaves in her Cougar. Bond picks up her shoes and says to camera,

This never happened to the other fella.

FROM TASCHEN

Filming began on Guincho Beach on May 13. After Bond rescues Tracy from her suicide attempt, he is attacked by Draco's men.

Lazenby:

When l'd have to do second unit on the weekends, the stuntmen would tell me. "Connery never did weekends." I'd say, "That never happened to the other fellow, eh?"

I'd tell Peter, "The other fellow didn't have to do that. Why do I have to do it?" When we shot the scene on the beach, Peter Hunt said, say that line you’ve been saying most of the movie, so I did, it was a way of breaking the ice of changing from one guy to another.

The titles are up, and they’re banging. We see the Bond silhouette runaway from camera. There is the martini glass with the union jack inside and either side 2 women, either with huge nipples or pointy bras leaning back bookending the glass.

There is also another chick on the right with a large headdress holding a trident. (Apparently Boadicea).

We see Bond again, a silhouette hanging onto the hands of a clock face, much like Doc Brown in Back to the Future.

Some old faces appear through the glass like Honey Rider, Dr No, Goldfinger and more.
